A distress call was received from the USS Descartes. When the Menelaus

arrived at the location the signal originated in a large field of asteroids.

No trace of the Descartes was found, the distress signal continued to

broadcast from the field. After Several scans of the field the ship was

found located inside a large asteroid. All Personal aboard the ship were

accounted for Cargo Bay 1 was refurbished as a field hospital and the

EMH was used to assist the Doctor. It is currently in investigation as to

what occurred to cause the ship to take damage. Data gathered on the

asteroids field radiation was outdated all crew were dosed with 10cc of L-
