Internationally our reach is in all deregulated markets and we are currently managing client assets in the UK, Europe proper, Canada and Australia. Longstanding relationships with all major suppliers (150+ in US alone), gives UES the broadest view of market changes, supplier contracts and pricing opportunities. This “well-funded” understanding of daily energy exchange, coupled with the familiarity of suppliers’ intricacies including price and contract flexibility gives Unified and its clients a unique competitive advantage when structuring agreements. In addition to energy purchasing and management, UES offers and has deployed (ISO) Demand Response programs nationally. For qualified clients these programs have little risk and can vastly increase energy savings. Our retail experience (over 60 years combined), gives Unified the ability to assess the value of DR programs for any type of client. The incorporation of Unified’s data system (UDMS) at no cost to portfolio clients rounds out the offering. Any and all products being procured and managed have step level password protected systems that allow c-level and ground floor asset managers to view, audit and benchmark all like assets to their greatest efficiency. Our process includes and pairs three important aspects; the parent co., local managers and Unified’s market knowledge for maximum effect. It is proactive always seeking opportunities to improve. Our process has developed over the last decade and our primary intent is to incorporate:

RFP goes to all credible suppliers

Criteria will be set with the parent company and can be customized based on asset needs

UES will organize top 5 low bid suppliers for 4 different terms and review

UES will recommend a term based on price and what the future looks like

Water and waste are done primarily with accounts payable who get us bills

If solar or demand response opportunity arises in a particular market we work up the opportunity and provide analysis
