US GUIDE Annual Conference YOU CAN DO IT 2010 3US GUIDE Annual Conference YOU CAN DO IT 2010 3

Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in USGuide’s confer-ence You Can Do It (UCDI). This conference is held annually to inspire Vietnamese students and

young professionals to pursue U.S graduate education. Since its beginning in 2006, UCDI has made a huge impact on the Vietnamese youth and on the society. By breaking the myth that studying in the United States is very difficult and impossible, it has inspired and provided fundemental information for a huge number of youths so that they can pursue a graduate program in the U.S. By expanding the scale nation-wide this year, the conference aims to further this impact.

UCDI 2010 connects you with representatives of prestigious U.S. schools and scholarship programs. The conference also include keynote speeches and panel discussions to provide you with insights into the appli-cation process as well as challenges and opportunites that U.S. graduate education can offer. We continue the successful practice of last UCDIs while add new “ingredients” to give you a rounded overview in a hope to boost your “can-do” spirit.

We, the Organazing Committee, have had considerable help and support in making this conference a reality.

Our speakers, advisors and partners have provided useful comments, informational support and most im-portantly encouragement right from the beginning. The Carlson School of Management, the Fulbright Program, the Vietnam Education Foundation and VNG software service company extended much of the financial sup-port for the conference. We also owe a great debt to our volunteers who unconditionally contribute to the success of the event and the social impact it will bring about. We hope that you will owe the positive impacts generated from this event not only to us, but also to these kind-hearted people.

All the members of the Organizing Committee wel-come you to You Can Do It annual meeting. We hope to see you in the U.S. and acknowledge your contribu-tion to the society in the near coming future.

With Best Regards,

Dao Thi Mai Huong (Ms)President/ UCDI 2010 Board of Organization
