Entries in the UAE App & Web Awards (UAWA) Competition are judged by a Jury Committee of Arab and International design professionals and technical experts. Members of the Jury Committee will evaluate the entries based on special designated guidelines (Criteria) following the international standards web technology.
Each entry is evaluated in three separate rounds during the judging procedure. The three sets of scores are then averaged into a single score for the individual entry. Entries with the highest scores in each category win awards. A certain minimum score must be achieved to qualify for an award. If no entry scores high enough, no award will be given. Winners become candidates for Web of the Year Award which is presented to only one entry of the highest score.
