For the supervisor/fleet manager, by the end of the course, delegates will be able to: •Ensure accurate tyre costs are captured. •Ensure preventable wear on fleet vehicles’ tyres noted early •Ensure maintenance of vehicles parts is done before parts ‘seize’ •Predict when tyres should be replaced and not based on their calendar age, police reports or by customer checks.•Plan for tyre purchases •Have records of total life of each tyre (first life and retread lifes) •Track the wear characteristics of retreaded tyres versus new tyres •Calculate and maintain data on cost per kilometer for tyre/rims for the entire fleet.
