It is an activity, which a group of people at the table in small pans becoming a dish own cooks, using different ingredients that are on the table, which is eaten, after which you can cook something new again. An additional possibility is the baking of small omelettes or pancakes. The whole is often decorated with different sauces and baguette. One gourmet usually serves for multiple people, usually four to six. An electric gourmet set usually consists of 6 or more pans and a grill plate (metal or stone). There are also simpler models with small pans under burners.. Some people don't like gourmet because it is very long, it is difficult to let your ingredients until their full value and because of the smell nuisance. Others find it precisely a cosy way of eating, where the host or-wife must leave the table not. Gourmet is a Christmas tradition in Netherlands for quite some time.
