intimate, angry, serious,
ironic, outraged, baffled,
tender, serene,
depressed, etc.

A long narrative
poem telling of a

The main
character is larger

possess super

Poetry that doesn’t follow any set pattern.
The poet choses how many lines per
stanza and how many stanzas.
The poet also chooses the beat and what
forms of figurative language to use.
