The Institute

The (Administration and Appraisal of National Real State Institute,

INDAABIN) is a decentralized organism from the equivalent to the

Department of the Interior and whose function is to design and implement

the Government policy of the Republic's real estate, created under the

reforms to the General Law National Assets.

Our Main Goal

Is to promote a modern and transparent administration of the federal real

Estate in order to optimize the use of public resources.

Federal property

The federal property is the major state assets,

includes office buildings, customer service

offices, international border ports, medical

centers, elementary schools, federal roads

and highways, urban and rural lots, dams and

reservoirs, shared buildings between various

federal agencies, warehouses, islands,

easements, churches and temples, natural

and protected environmental areas,

embassies and consulates in other countries,

airports, oil installations, museums,

archaeological sites, and more.

Contains activities that must be performed for optimizing the

use of public resources related with federal real state in the

period 2014-2018.

2014 – 2018 PCPIF

1. Consolidate Federal Real Estate Information System that provides

strategic information to optimize the use of federal property.

2. Generate savings in maintenance, conservation and use of federal

property, ensuring sustainable and safe facilities.

3. To promote the regularization of the ownerships of federal property,

providing legal certainty for public and private investment.

4. To develop modern mechanisms for acquisition, sale and leasing of real estate, to optimize the use of public resources.

5. To issue more accurate and expedite appraisals, according to international standards.

6. Institutional coordination with the academic, social and private sectors as well as public authorities, levels of government

and constitutional agencies.
