Sparkly sequinned yarn the added BLING! Garter stitch with a simple lace increase. Materials: 2 skeins 50g 150m Yin (colour815 Vitality) 3 skeins 50g 55m Yang (colour831 Health) Pair of 6.5mm knitting needles. Tension: 14st to 10cm on 6.5mm. Pattern notes: Yon: yarn over needle On even numbered rows, knit all stitches. Cast on 3 st. Row 1: K1 yon k1 yon k1. Row 2: K5 Row 3: K1 yon k1 * yon k1 yon * k1 yon k1. Row 4: K9 Row 5: K1 yon k3 * yon k1 yon * k3 yon k1. Row 7: K1 yon k5 * yon k1 yon * k5 yon k1. Row 9: K1 yon k7 * yon k1 yon * k7 yon k1. Row 11: K1 yon k9 * yon k1 yon * k9 yon k1. Continue as set working 2 more stitches at either side of centre * yon k1 yon * until wrap is desired size. Wrap shown finished at 182 st. Last row: K1 yon (k2tog yon) to last stitch k1. (Leave a length of yarn at least 3 times the width of the garment for the casting off.) Cast off loosely. If lace edging used, do not cast off. 2 balls Yang required for lace edging. OPTIONAL: Slant eyelet lace edging (from Nicky Epstein’s Knitting on the Edge) Pick up one stitch of cast off row for 2 rows on lace edging. Cast on 8 st. Prep row: Knit.
