in either traditional or cradle position. Forward motion is
required. Consideration in judging will be in appearance,
posture, gracefulness, technique and timing.
All styles shall receive equal consideration.
Contestants will march one at a time. Contestants who
stay IN step will place above those with timing problems.
No contestants will be disqualified.

Basic Strut implies straight marching in a square
pattern with no footwork or legwork while carrying baton
in either traditional or cradle position. Forward motion is
required. Consideration in judging will be in appearance,
posture, gracefulness, technique and timing.
All styles shall receive equal consideration.
Contestants will march one at a time. Contestants who
stay IN step will place above those with timing problems.
No contestants will be disqualified.
