TWINNING OF SITES 2020
BASIC INFORMATION
Description of the project
The “Twinning of sites” project is organised by ERIH and co-funded
by the Creative Europe Culture programme.
The project involves the establishment of a twinning partnership
between thematically similar ERIH member sites in order to learn
from each other and to develop competences based on best
practices.
Description of the project
Project implementation shall include at least one of the following
areas:
- education,
- improve future job and career opportunities,
- succession planning,
- cooperation,
- exchange.
The project objective is to initiate
cooperation between its participants;
the project will not fund follow-on
cooperation.
The stages of the project
Requirements:
- finding a foreign partner,
- completing an application,
- substantive evaluation of the application by ERIH,
- selecting by the ERIH Task Group 2 pairs of sites that will receive
co- financing
The stages of the project
Requirements:
- organising a stay for the person(s) from the twinning site,
- drawing up information to be posted on ERIH and own website
and in social media,
- preparing and delivering: documents for cost reimbursement, a
final report, a poster exhibition for the ERIH Annual Conference.
Application form
- Description of the proposed project.
- Description of the expected outcomes of the project (including the
benefits for each party).
- Follow-up.
- Estimated cost of transport and accommodation in EURO
Project costs
ERIH will cover the participation costs for 1 person (up to 7 overnight
stays), 2 persons (up to 4 overnight stays each) or 3 persons (up to 3
overnight stays each).
This will comprise a daily allowance of EUR 50 and also the
reimbursement of the transport costs, e.g. train tickets, flight tickets in
economy class. Reimbursement does not cover the cost of renting a
car.
Project costs
All trips need to be authorised in advance.
No advance payment will be provided for the exchange.
Expense limit for one pair is the amount of EUR 3.000, EUR 1.500
per partner maximum.
Reimbursement method
For hotel invoices/receipts, please make sure that your full name and
the name of the European Route of Industrial Heritage are included.
For air travel, ERIH will require an invoice/receipt issued in the full
name of the traveller, together with boarding passes.
No documents will be required for miscellaneous expenditure covered
by the daily allowances of EUR 50.
Reimbursement method
All expenses related to the implementation of the project will have to
be incurred by the end of September 2020 and invoiced to ERIH by
mid-October 2020 at the latest.
The costs incurred will be reimbursed after delivery of the
aforementioned documents to ERIH via bank transfer to the personal
account of each project participant in EUR. If the expenses were
incurred in a different currency, they will be converted into EUR.
Reporting During the visit:
Photos and information to be posted on ERIH Facebook page
After the visit:
Reporting template to be filled-in with aims, visits, lessons learned,
future cooperation etc.
