STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT TWENTY-FIRST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
“Or who has given the Lord anything that he may be repaid?” - Romans 11:35St. Paul reminds us of a central fact of stewardship. We cannot give the Lord anything, because God already owns it all. God made everything. All that we can do is return a portion of God’s many gifts back to Him. Sincere gratitude for our gifts opens our hearts to joyful generosity!
STEWARDSHIP VISION AT STM
Inspired by the uniqueness of our faith community and our response to God’s call, the stewardship committee strives to fulfill the Christian mission by sharing our time, talent and treasure. Our vision is to involve and encourage all members of the parish to volunteer and support our varied ministries and be true disciples of Jesus Christ. For more information about stewardship call Ann Dugan at 404-378-4588

the lighter side An army general noticed one of his soldiers behaving oddly. The soldier would pick up any piece of paper he found, frown, and say “That’s not it,” and put it down again. This went on for some time, until the general arranged to have the soldier psychologically evaluated. The psychologist concluded that the soldier was unfit to carry out his duties, and wrote out his discharge from the army. The soldier picked it up, smiled and said, “That’s it!”
