SAN FRANCISCO BOTANICAL GARDEN BECOMES THE CITY’S OWN OUTDOOR CONCERT HALL AND EVERYONE IS INVITED!

For twelve days this summer, enjoy the powerful relationship of music and nature and celebrate the Garden’s 75th Anniversary as a special place of beauty, conservation and inspiration.

Tickle the Ivories: Sit down and play at one of twelve pianos tucked among flower-filled gardens from 9am – 6pm daily when there is no scheduled performance.

First come, first served.

Please be courteous – if people are waiting, limit your playing time to 15 minutes.

All events are FREE with regular admission (free for Members and San Francisco residents).

The Garden serves as an outdoor classroom, connecting people to plants in the heart of the city. Its thriving youth education program serves more than 12,000 children annually, reaching almost every public elementary and K-8 school in San Francisco. Free, daily docent-led tours are available year round. The Garden also houses the

Helen Crocker Russell Library of Horticulture, the most comprehensive horticultural library in northern California.
