From the Desk of Sister Gerri

Dear Friends in Christ,

First of all to all fathers, Happy Father’s

Day! We give special thanks to God today for

you. You have a truly important role in the life

of your family and all those around you.

What is most important is that you recognize and

know the Lord is your strength. The second important

thought for you is that you recognize that you are called

to be leaders of values and faith as you are a lived ex-

ample in your family. May God bless you and all your

families as we appreciate the gifts we receive daily from

our loving God.

CALLING YOUNG ADULTS Are you a young adult, 19-39 years old? Whether married, single, or di-vorced, we as a Church are concerned about you! Our Circle of Faith parishes would like to give you the opportunity to sit down with us and have an honest and

frank discussion about the things taking place in your busy lives. We need to better understand how we can serve you and help you grow in your faith.

The diocese is putting together a new model for young adult ministry that focuses on the local parishes and how they can support you in your faith journey. We need your input to help us gather the necessary information to imple-ment this new approach to Young Adult Ministry.

If you are 19-39 years old, and are interested in being part of a discussion and visioning for Young Adult Ministry, there will be a visioning meeting at 7:30 pm on Wednes-day, June 29 at All Saints Parish Offices. For more infor-mation please contact Deacon Cal Naidl at 920-544-1034, or Deacon Dave Scheuer at 920-606-7440.

NEW ENVELOPES AT ALL SAINTS Prior to July 1, some parishioners will receive new packets of Sacrificial Giving envelopes. We are looking through the history of envelope usage among parishioners. If you are a consistent contributor, you will receive the new envelopes and be assigned a new envelope number. If you give a lump sum once or twice per year or give electronically, you will not receive envelopes. Each packet will have 12 enve-lopes (one per month). If you receive a packet and do not wish to use them, please return them to the parish office. If you do not receive a packet and would like one, please con-tact the parish office. To reduce the cost of having enve-lopes, we strongly suggest you consider the safe, conven-ient way of contributing by using the electronic funds trans-fer. Forms are available in the church entrance. FISCAL YEAR ENDS JUNE 30

All parishioners are reminded that financial contributions for

the 2015-16 fiscal year must be in the parish office by the

end of June to be included in the annual report. We are

very grateful to everyone who financially supports the par-

ishes in our clusters.

PAPER BAGS NEEDED FOR PANTRY If you have unwanted brown paper grocery bags with han-dles, All Saints Food Pantry could use them. Please drop them off in the church entrances or bring them to the parish office. Thank you! 2016 BISHOP’S APPEAL The Circles of Faith promotion for the Bishop’s Appeal will conclude at the end of the fiscal year, on June 30. However, the diocese is still accepting both new contributions and payments on pledges. Thank you to everyone who has con-tributed this year in making this campaign so successful.

Stewardship Appreciation

All Saints: Thank you to everyone who attended the 18th annual Parish Picnic last Sunday. God blessed us with beautiful weather and a hungry and generous crowd. A huge thank you to John and Kristen Herbes for chairing the picnic and all the workers and donors who made this event possible.

St. Joseph: We sincerely appreciate the leadership of Lydia Fogeltanz in working with St. Joseph Choir. May God bless you for sharing your talent with us!

St. James: We are grateful to Vonnie Verkuilen and Ka-tie Lyons for presenting the recent Virtus class, and their helper, Joan Chizek who assisted with registration and hospitality, We are fortunate to have these ladies trained and willing to teach this important class. God bless you for sharing your time and talent.

CEMETERY GROUNDSKEEPER FOR ST. JAMES We are in need of someone to cut the lawn this summer, do the trimming and general grounds upkeep in the cemetery. Please call Mary Re-

miker at 920-863-6171 for more information.

ALL SAINTS TRUSTEE AND COUNCIL POSITIONS All Saints Parish is looking to fill 3 open positions on our Parish Council and also the position of Trustee – Treas-urer. All positions begin July 1, 2016. Trustee position is a 2 year elected position, and the Parish Council positions are 3 year terms. These are great opportunities to get to know your parish and help us plan for the future. Please call John Herbes at 920-412-6046 or the parish office at 863-5256 for more information. ST. JAMES BUDGET APPROVED

St. James Pastoral Council approved a new 2016-2017 budget at a recent meeting. We encourage you to pick up a copy at the entrances to learn how we will be using your contributions in the next fiscal year.

HAITI AND DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MISSION NEEDS Do you have tools, medical supplies, office equipment, housewares or farm equipment that you no longer use? Our Circles of Faith Churches are par-ticipating in a diocesan project to fill up a shipping con-tainer with supplies for these two countries. We have a complete list of needed items on the Circles website that details several more wanted articles than what we distrib-uted previously. Donations do not need to be new, but they should be clean and in working condition. Bring smaller donations to the boxes in each of our church entrances, but if you have larger items, we ask that you take them directly to the diocese. To drop off there, you may want to call Cindy St. Aubin first at (920) 272-8192. For more infor-mation, or help with transport, please call Jean Schleis at 863-3965. This project is being coordinated through the Circles of Faith Stewardship Team.
