Tv Studio Sound Evaluation The purpose of this brief was to produce a television segment with a concept and script, the concept was based on if people should have cosmetic surgery and how it also effects other people. As a collective we all came up with ideas and roles and what’s what and who will be taking the roles. We then went to set up in the Tv studio on what camera connects to the monitors in the room where the music and showings of the tv show would controlled. The roles people were assigned to were as followed, a panel of 4 people to interview including the host which made 5, 4 camera workers, 1 director 1 floor manager and three people in the communications room organising all the technical equipment. There was some compromise to the segment as some people thought the topic that was being used to discuss was not needed and felt should have been a different topic but later on all came to an agreement on the plastic surgery. We first did a practise run making sure that everything was in place and checking that all the equipment was working and especially the sound was working and also just to get a quick run through of how things was going to happen during the tv show. So once we checked that everything was running smoothly we did our first proper take which didn’t really go to plan but we decided to continue, what we found is that we still had to adjust the mic properly so that we could here everybody properly on the panel. So once we had fixed the problem with the mic we made a second attempt but was cut short as the host thought to close off the debate meaning we had to try again the third time around, but once trying again for the 3 rd time we finally got the debate we wanted which lasted longer. The areas we could improve on is making sure that we adjust the mic correctly especially when somebody is on the boom pole but also making sure the boom pole doesn’t get in shot.

The purpose of this brief was to produce a television segment with a concept and script, the concept was based on if people should have cosmetic surgery and how it also effects other people. As a collective we all came up with ideas and roles and what’s what and who will be taking the roles. We then went to set up in the Tv studio on what camera connects to the monitors in the room where the music and showings of the tv show would controlled.

So once we had fixed the problem with the mic we made a second attempt but was cut short as the host thought to close off the debate meaning we had to try again the third time around, but once trying again for the 3rd time we finally got the debate we wanted which lasted longer.

The areas we could improve on is making sure that we adjust the mic correctly especially when somebody is on the boom pole but also making sure the boom pole doesn’t get in shot.
