How to begin?

Start by inserting Skype username and your password and than press enter on the keyboard or just tubule click on Sign in.Ex.Skype Username: gretar97Password: ****y

If you don’t have an account create one by clicking on create account and following the instructions.

Once you opened Skype what to do?

Once you logged in Skype for the first time and you explored it a bit, the first thing you have to do is add friends, so that after you can immediately start chat and talk with them, as soon as they accept your friend request.

Insert the name or email address of the user you are trying to find.

Click find and you will get a long list of all the contacts that respond to that name.

Select the one you were looking for by clicking on the green icon on the right side of the page.

A window will automatically open, you can decide to write a text to the user you sent the request to, in order to ask him to accept the friend request or in order to make sure that he/her is the right person.

Press sent, and the request has been sanded with the message that you wrote.

Start chatting with your friends

To view all your contact you have to click on the “contacts” tool on the left on the Skype page. Once you click it you can visualize all your Skype contacts, all your contacts that are online and all the the telephone numbers registered in the computer.

By clicking on the contacts, not only you can view their Skype profile but you can also chat and call them.

How do you chat with people? Instant messaging.

First step:Go on the list of the people online and select the person you what to talk to by clicking on their contact.

Second step:Start typing in the bar at the end of the page. Once you have written the message press enter on your keyboard. Where you started your first conversation on Skype.

Skype to Skype calls and calls to mobiles and landlines.

To call people on Skype , do the same first step that you would do to chat with people, which click on their contact when they are online. This is the page you should get : Once you get in that page all you have to do is click the small arrow next to the video call tool on the right top of the page. You will get a column with three options:

You can select one of the three options given. Call where you can just audio chat with the person. Video message where you video call the person and Mobile, which will appear only if you have registered the mobile of the person, to make low cost phone calls to mobiles and landlines.

Remember!! This option is available only if you have a Skype credit which you can charge online.

Did you know about group calls?

Through Skype you can also call and video call with up to 25 people at the same time, from all different parts of the world.

Start by calling a person. Once they have picked up the call click the third icon from the left of the page, and select the option “add friend”

After you clicked add people, you have to select the people, from your Skype contact list, that you would like to add to the conversation. To make it easier you can type the name and press enter and the person will be automatically add to the conversation.

Groups’ video calls allow you to share big news with the family, talk to friends from different parts of the world or work closely with a team of colleagues. And it’s all free. Although to add people who aren’t on Skype you have to call them on their mobile or landline with Skype Credit or a subscription.

Send files

You can send files of any size over Skype quickly and easily and for free. You can send files online to multiple contacts during a voice call, video or group call and in an instant message. Whatever you prefer.

While chatting or video chatting with a person, you have to click the plus icon that you find at the bottom of the page. Than select “send file”, choose the file you want to send and than just click enter and there you sent you file to the person you are talking to.

Screen sharing

Screen sharing lets you share your computer screen with anyone on Skype. For example, you can display presentations, show friends and family your photos without having to send them, or show someone how something works on your PC.

2. After the call has started, click the + button in the call bar and select Share screens.

To share your screen:

1. Make a voice call or video call to the person or group you want to share your screen with.

3. In the dialog box that appears, click Start to share your entire screen.
