TUTORIAL #1 OWNER NAME SEARCH

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Type mercercountyohio.org into the address bar in your browser. 2. Click the Auditor Search tab to begin.

OWNER NAME SEARCH

3. Enter a Last name in the OWNER NAME field 4. Click the Search Button OPTIONS:

a. Enter a last name, space, and a first name or part of a first name b. Enter only a part of the last name or first name (at least one letter) c. Use a % to skip portions of the Owner Name field (works as a wildcard) – Explained on next page

5. Enter a Last Name, %, and First Name (similar to above) in the OWNER NAME field 6. Click the Search button Description: This will search for an owner with the names Doe and Jane anywhere in the field in that order. The two names may be separated by any number of characters. This is useful when the second name on a deed is desired and the first is either unknown or unnecessary for the search. Also, multiple %’s may be used.
