We hope the answer to this is ‘yes, most definitely’. We can send out all the flyers we like
and promote what we are doing by e-mail etc., but by far the most powerful way is by
word of mouth from those who have benefitted from our services. When we first started at
our new venue we were getting 30 people attend and then it was down to 25. Just lately its
been about 18 or so. Now its not about numbers of course, but we do have loads more
capacity. Also, if there are more people around we can do more things together and we
have more people to support what we are doing. We need to grow at least 25% in the next
few months as this helps our sustainability. To this end, we have a great opportunity with
the two network events coming up
Southampton Mental Health Network Engagement Events
At Jury’s Inn Southampton. On Tuesday 15th January 2 p.m.—5 p.m. and
Saturday 18th January 10 a.m.—1 p.m
We need people to help man the stalls and talk to people and give out
leaflets etc., and promote what we are doing—can you help?
New office !
We are delighted to announce that
Creative Options Community Project
now has a dedicated office space on the
first floor of Southampton Voluntary
Services, St. Marys Street, Kingsland Square, Southampton, SO14 1NW
right opposite Communicare offices. We are just about to appoint a part-
time administrator and will be organizing the office before Christmas but
hope to have it up and running properly by the New Year. Details of the
direct telephone number will be announced on the website once we have
regular staff in the office to answer calls. There will also be an
answerphone. We will need people to help with filing and general
paperwork and to support our office staff. If you are looking to doing
some voluntary work and seeking to gain work experience please talk to
us! We will announce the days and times the office will be open shortly.
Do you enjoy Creative Options?
