Each Future CEO cohort has about 14 members - people just like you who are learning how to lead a business. Cohort members are carefully matched by The CEO Institute for compatible skill levels and activity in non-competing business sectors. This promotes openness and sharing within cohorts. Future CEO activities are structured to develop leadership capabilities and management skills. The program is centred on: Learning best business practices from expert speakers. An executive development program leading to globally recognised professional credentials.

PROGRAM FORMAT

All meetings are delivered via Zoom. The first meeting of the month has an agenda set by the Chair-facilitator based on each member’s learning goals and current needs. The second meeting is a Member Check-in and provides members an opportunity to connect and share their issues & challenges in a less formal setting.

The meetings can include:

• Members’ issues. A confidential forum for members to raise challenges they are facing (problems and opportunities) and discuss them in a supportive way. Where appropriate, members may provide a formal presentation to the cohort on a project relevant to their business activities.

• Expert speakers / presentations. The members’ issues sessions often focus on the common challenges of today’s business environment. At most meetings, expert speakers are engaged to deepen knowledge in these areas and answer questions. Leading academics are also engaged to deliver cutting-edge thought leadership scenarios, to expand members’ thinking and better equip them to meet challenges in today’s dynamic and fast moving world of business. It’s like having your own private MBA tutorial.

• Open forum. Broad-ranging discussion about issues affecting members. Critical peer-to-peer problem solving is facilitated by the Chair-facilitator in addressing these issues.

CURRICULUM ADVISORY BOARD

A highly credentialed Curriculum Advisory Board advise on all matters related to the Future CEO curriculum, including content, standards and delivery.

• Provisional Certification as a Certified CEO. Future CEO members with a minimum of 3 years’ senior management experience, who attend at least 30 meetings of the Future CEO program are automatically assessed for Provisional Certification as a Certified CEO, and, if successful, are entitled to use the post nominal CCEO(prov)*.

• Guidance from an experienced, independent Chair- facilitator. They ensure that the Future CEO curriculum delivers outcomes meeting the member’s needs.

• The right to use a post nominal on your business card and documents, denoting your Associate Member status of The CEO Institute (AMCEOI). After 5 years of continuous membership, you earn the prestigious right to call yourself an Associate Fellow of The CEO Institute (AFCEOI).

• Provides the learning foundations to prepare for advancement to The CEO Syndicate program on achieving CEO status.
