Hon. Roger G. Mercado
Congressman-Elect PLGSL
Province of Southern, Philippines
Subject: * Practical School for Agriculture: #Provincial Greening Program (#PGP)
Request to Prototype *
Dear Honorable Mercado:
Achieving sincere collaboration remains a challenge even there are already written policies for
convergence. Implementing NGP at Tomas Oppus Pilot School fails to deliver back to basics
environmental education. How could we empower our school children to express their young
minds and manage the things we love to see them to do?
To strengthen #2030Agenda for #PH1259 Southern Leyte Action 2020 – Philippines: “No one
will be left behind,” please allow us to experiment further efforts to break the cycle for
Environmental Institutionalism implementation into our school system by making sure every
child has fair chance to learn by placing them center of everything we do.
Please allow us to experiment further for school year 2016-17 and onwards “Advancing School
Children Entrepreneurial Skills.” By making them manage and own the activities themselves.
As young entrepreneurs, we would like to raise funds and make a new deposit account for the
Tomas Oppus Pilot School selected pupils as seed capital. Attached are various “Q” seedlings
produce by the Alliance team we intend to sell to you.
Hope this experiment will evolve into an enterprising activity as they are the Custodians of the
future.
Thank you.
Sincerely yours,
NELSON T. ENOJO
