1) Application Deadline: All application materials (application form, unofficial transcript, and recommendation letters) are due to the International Programs Office (IPO) by, Friday, March 2nd at 4:00 pm. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

2) Electronic Application Only! Email to ipo@oxy.edu The subject line must include the

word "Application" and the country where your Program is located.

3) Recommendations

a) Two recommendations required! At least one must be from an Oxy faculty member b) Recommenders should email completed forms to ipo@oxy.edu c) If your program requires language proficiency, one of your recommenders should address the language questions.

4) Identification photo -- please attach an electronic identification-size photo of yourself.

2. During the Fall course, each participant will conduct independent research on a topic related

to Turkey. (Then, at a relevant site in Turkey, you will present your research to the group.) What initial ideas do you have for research topics (briefly describe 2-3 options)? How would these topics build from work you've done in prior course, contribute to your major/minor curriculum, and/or relate to your senior comps? (You should consult with your faculty mentors and/or set up a meeting with Prof. Upson-Saia during her office hours to discuss potential topics.) ~ 500 words
