Turkey! Turkey?
Ever wondered why there are two types of Turkey, the nation and turkey, the bird???In 1992, the bird turkey was discovered in North
America. This bird closely resembled to another bird, the Guinea Fowl, which is found in Africa. The Turks imported it to Europe and called it the Turkey-cock or the Turkey-hen. When they began sending similar-looking-birds, to Europe, they began calling them turkeys. This is how two types of Turkeys formed.
