About this manual1.1 Documentation concept

This manual contains all information about the bus-independent I/O-modules for the modular TURCK IP20 I/O system BL20.

The following chapters contain a short BL20 system description, exact descriptions of the I/O-modules functionality and their technical data as well as all general information concerning the whole system as for example mounting/dismounting, labeling etc.

In addition to that, the manual contains a short description of the I/O-ASSISTANT V3 (PACTware + BL20-DTM), the project planning and configuration software tool for TURCK I/O-systems, the software I/O-ASSISTANT V3 (PACTware + BL20-DTM).

The bus-specific BL20-gateways, the connection to the different automation devices, the maximum system extension as well as all other bus specific information are described in separate manuals (www.turck.de).D300717 0714 BL20 I/O modules1-2
