Functions of the Oil
Indicates the Speed of the Turbine Primary Oil :
Operates the Control Valve (V1)
Its Function is to Maintain the Speed of the of the Turbine as per the Set Point - 5953 rpm
Secondary Oil :
Its Pressure Ranges from 0 to 3.5ksc (0 to 5953 rpm)
App. Pressure at Over Speed ( 6600 rpm) is 4.33 bar
Its Pressure Ranges from 0.95 to 3.0ksc (From 0 to 100 % Opening of the V1)V1 Will Start Open at 0.95Ksc of Sec. Oil Pressure
Test Oil:
LP Control Oil : Operates the Control Diaphragm Valve (V3)
Generates the Trip Oil in the Main Relay at 25% of Load Limiter Position
Operating Oil :
Trip Oil: Operates Emergency Stop Valve
For Testing the Healthiness of Main Relay
Operates the Relief Valve (V2)Tertiary Oil : Its Function is to Maintain the HP Extraction Pr.Its Pressure Ranges from 0 to 3.5ksc (From 0 to 100 % Opening of the V2)
Its Function is to Maintain the LP Extraction Pr.Its Pressure Range is 0 to 3.5ksc (From 0 to 100 % Opening of the V3)

V2 & V3 Position 100% EHP 100.1 Position 15.41% MSCH & Load Limiter Position 0 %
STG in SHUT DOWN mode
6. MSCH goes to 42% & then Load Limiter goes to 52% 7. CONTINUE Command
5. MSCH goes to 25%
Governor will Changeover from HYD to PAR AUTO
8. Mode Changes to STG IN WARM UP MODE
- Speed Target will Change to 1800rpm
9. CONTINUE Command
10. MSCH goes to 77%
11. Mode Changes to ACCELARATE MODE
Speed Target Changes to 5700rpm
12. CONTINUE Command
13. Load Limiter goes to 90%
14. Mode Changes to SYNCHRONUS SPEED
15. Synchronize the Machine
16. STG ON LINE MODE
17. Operation Mode Changes to DROOP
