Turbidity Curtain - Geotextile Materials, Erosion Control...
Transcript of Turbidity Curtain - Geotextile Materials, Erosion Control...
Turbidity or Floating Silt Curtains are flexible sediment control barriers designed to prevent the spread of silt and sediment in lakes and other water bodies when work is being performed in water, on or near the shoreline.
Constructed of permeable or non-permeable material, the turbidity curtain is suspended vertically in the water with an upper hem for enclosing floatation material and a lower hem for holding ballast material. Standard and custom fabricated sizes are available with a variety of fabric options, floatation sizes, load bearings, ballast members, connectors and lengths to suit your project needs.
