Appositives, is a noun or pronoun placed after another noun or pronoun to identify, rename, or explain the preceding word.

example 1: The tour guide Mr. Torres led an exciting tour of the London Tower. example 2: I admire the artist Vincent Van Gogh.

Appositive Phrase is placed next to a noun or pronoun and adds information or details

example 1: Aunt Kelly, my favorite aunt, writes novels. example 2: Athletes, men and women, played together.
