Students shoot video footage of the treasure videohunt and some other videos of scenes prepared by Itlalian group Day with the families - at 08.00 pm farewell pizza in Borgo SL 9-11.30 discussion panels and video editing workshops. some Turkish, Polish and Hungarian students in mixed groups build 3 posters for the project. Practising Italian phrases and expressions for the situational activity at the market. Walking to town for the weekly stall market to put in practice the spoken Italian learnt on the video and FB crash course. Some Italian students accompany the group and help in the filming At 9.10 arrival in Florence. Walk to the centre and visit of the Cathedral, Baptistery, Dome and cathedral museum. At 1 pm free time for lunch at San Lorenzo stall market and street food tasting area inside the Mercati Generali At 9.10 arrival in Florence and walk to the centre while having an artistic treasure hunt on the way. Visit of Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens with the Buontalenti Grotto. GROUP1 at 10.45 N°3299244 – GROUP2 at 11.15 N° 3339008 Tel prenotazione musei 294883- 290112 Walk back to school and coffee break at the school’s new cafeteria. at 10.30 discussion panels and video editing workshops. 1 pm: Lunch for teachers at the Ristorante degli artisti in the centre of Borgo Students have their packed lunch at the public gardens in Piazza Dante, near the town Hall At 3.20 pm the lady in waiting of duchess Eleanor of Toledo will meet the students at Palazzo Vecchio for a tour in English – after the visit back to the train Students of the language department of Giotto Ulivi will first have a briefing on the Florentine Renaissance and will then lead the visit to the museum of jewellery inside Pitti Palace At 2.30 pm guided tour of the town led by some of the students of the school involved in the communicating art project VE-VF At 5.40 pm train to Borgo arrival at 6.20 pm Packed lunch in Boboli Gardens pleasant Ascent to the Bardini Gardens and Forte Belvedere At 1.15 pm packed lunch for students Lunch for teachers at the new school’s cafeteria At 3.45 pm meeting with the mayor at the town hall. At 4.30 students go home with their Italian partners – teachers meet again in the evening for dinner and to discuss about the project Evening with the families - teachers meet again in the evening for dinner and to discuss about the project then nice walk to the beautiful church of Saint Miniato with Italian students still serving as guides. Stop at Piazzale Michelangelo and bus back to train station At 2.30 pm cooking workshop with chef Sauro at the town canteen kitchen nearby. At 16.30 students go home.
