– Public alert message over cellular is being provided only in 2G– No alert services in 3G networks such as WCDMA and HSPA– Provision of 800MHz band LTE commercial service by two
operators (SKT and LG U+) in Jul. 2011 – Developed standard based on CMAS and will be enforced by
NEMA (National Emergency Management Agency) by 2012

– Major business model is Customized service, Smart & Safety, Intelligent vehicle, Public SOC(Social Overhead Capital)
– Established TTA M2M PG(Dec. 2010) to standardize open M2M platform interface based on commercial mobile communication network
