The imperialismThe imperialism

The imperialism is the extension of a country that have the control over other territories. The country  conquest are called metropolis and the territories conquered are the colonies.

Since the centuries XVI and XVII Spain and Portugal were the most important empires in the imperialism. Europe was the king of the world because conquered territories quickly on account of the soldiers.

The economic factors had very importance. When the production increase the colonies were markets. The markets were spaces where the people changed their money for aliments, clothes… The territories that had natural resources given raw materials cheep for their industries.

The countries conquered spaces that was strategic and they used it spaces for controlate rout sea and important rout terrestrial, for example United Kingdom. They used territorial expansion for increase prestige of a country and reinforce the national pride.

In some countries the population increase. The people of Europe migrate to the colonies. In the XIX century appear with the population explosion located because mortality decrease, the medicine and the hygiene increase and the natality increase too.
