Parish Christmas Basket Project In your envelope packet, you will find one marked “Christmas Baskets for the Needy.” This parish collection, taken up around Thanksgiving, is a call to respond to the needs of the families in our area. A large number of Christmas food baskets will be distributed based on the needs of individual families. Your donation will be put to good use.

We Still Have Lottery Tickets Remember that the first drawing of the parish lottery will be December 20. We still have about 50 tickets to sell. This is a ten month lottery (Dec. 20 to Sept. 20) with two cash prizes of $125 awarded each month on the 20

    th

of the month. Tickets are $5 per month or $50 for all ten months. To purchase a ticket, call the rectory at 366-1750 or fill in the form below and place it in the collection before December 15.

Special Second Collection A Parishioner writes, “We thank God today and every day for the religious sisters who taught us in school, not only our ABC’s, but also to love God.” Share your gratitude for those senior Catholic Sisters, Brothers and Religious Order Priests who made a positive difference in so many lives. Please give generously to next week’s collection for the Retirement Fund for Religious.

Retreat for Parish Women Next Saturday is the date for the 3

    rd annual women’s

retreat and luncheon to be held here in the church and the rectory dining room. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. near the adoration chapel (parking lot side of the church). You can help us by calling ahead so that we can better estimate the attendance. The cost is $5 and includes lunch at 11 a.m. Come enjoy the presence of neighbors and friends and especially the talks by Sr. Elizabeth Mackowiak CSSF.

Christmas Baskets for the Needy Again this year the parish food pantry crew along with other volunteers will assemble Christmas Baskets for the needy. Those who wish to request a Christmas Basket must call 363-6080 after December 1

    st and no later than

December 15. Volunteers will be needed on the weekend of December 19 - 21 for assembling and distributing the baskets. For more information, call Carol Smith, project coordinator at 366-5908. Please do not call either Carol or the Church for the purpose of requesting a basket.

Occasional Volunteer Needed At times the church has a need for minor sewing repairs; for example on the robes worn by the altar servers. A sewing machine would be helpful but not essential. If you could help, please contact Fr Dennis Att: Moms of Young Children For your convenience there is a “mother’s room” for use during mass it is just off the parking lot entrance. It has a rest room with a changing table.
