Customers seek additional potash sources to
reduce dependency on the small group of suppliers
Choice:
• Provides a choice to consumers, from a new, independent producer
• Direct-to-consumer (or as close as possible) sales result in significant
savings by by-passing the “middle man” distribution channel
Cheaper:
• Lower capital costs - financeable
• Low operating Costs – the lowest cost of production outside of Russia
Cleaner:
• Environmentally head and shoulders above existing potash operations
• Easier to permit www.gensource.ca 7(TSX.V: GSP)

Vanguard One Project
• “Vanguard One” is the first project “module”, to be developed with
within the larger Vanguard Area.
• Small scale production facility with a target production rate of
250,000 tonnes annually (t/a)
• Key differentiators:
• Selective Mining and Enhanced Recovery (SMER)
• Minimal environmental footprint
• Scalable and repeatable
• Faster to implement
www.gensource.ca (TSX.V: GSP)
Mining - Selective Dissolution
12
Cost effective and efficient recovery methodStep 1
• Horizontal drilling techniques enable the creation of horizontal caverns
Step 2
• Brackish formation water is used as the input (not fresh/surface water) and made into an extraction brine
by saturating it in NaCl (salt); when the brine is saturated with NaCl, only KCl (potash) selectively
dissolved
Step 3
• Saturated brine is pumped through horizontal caverns to a cooling crystallization process on surface to
remove the KCl from the brine, resulting in solid crystals of potassium nutrient (KCl)
Step 4
• KCl is separated, dried, compacted, and screened to a specific size for sale as the final product, which is
pre-sold to strategic off-take market partners
Step 5
• Remaining brine (still saturated with NaCl but not KCl) is returned to the horizontal caverns, where it
dissolves additional KCl and the cycle is repeated

Gensource is NOT a Conventional Potash Mine
Gensource will have a minimal impact on the environment, utilities, and
local infrastructure in comparison

Highly Scalable
Simple & Repeatable
• Plant site and ancillary structures fit within 300mx300m parcel (9 hectares or 22 acres)
• Only requires 2 sections of land for 6 horizontal caverns to meet production capacity
• Abundant potash resource
• Increased project and operational synergies from additional modules

Drilling & Geology
• Focused efforts on lease KL 245, in
proximity of wells drilled in 2012
• Confirm resource extent and grade in
the area adjacent to one of the initial
resource wells drilled in the area in
2012
• Upgrade resource categorization
from Inferred and issue a revised NI
43-101 Resource Report
• Prepare for the integration of the
Resource into the on-going feasibility
study and subsequent conversion to
Reserve

Drilling & Geology
• Over a combined 40 days and 10,000 hours worked with zero injuries and zero reportable
incidents
• Drilled to vertical depths of around 1,560m
• Over 80m of 3.5” diameter core cut and retrieved from the Prairie Evaporite Formation
• All three members of the Prairie Evaporite (Patience Lake, Belle Plaine and Esterhazy) are
present and intact, in both cores recovered
• Thicknesses of the three members are consistent with adjacent wells, meeting and exceeding
expectations, and showing favourable mineralization
• Samples were assayed by SRC
• An NI43-101 Updated Resource Technical Report was issued
