RIDING SAFE TECHNOLOGIES

CONSTRUCTION

Hardshell

Hardshell helmets have a durable ABS, PP or PC

hard shell and a liner of softer expanded polystyrene

(EPS), which has very good penetration resistance

and energy distribution properties. Hardshell helmets

are very strong and quite forgiving in handling as the

outer shell isn’t delicate to minor knocks.

Hardshell with FlexTech

Our Hardshell construction with FlexTech is the next

evolution in helmet designs as it incorporates a com-

fortable head shape adjustment mechanism while

showing superior energy distribution properties. The

helmet utilizes a series of interior EPS foam segments

connected by a reinforcing skeleton, allowing the

helmet to flex and conform to your head – because

a 54 cm head size does not tell if the head is rather

round or oval. The major benefit of this construction

is its wearing comfort because the flexible interior

is elastic enough to make as much space for the

individual curves of the head shape as needed. This

avoids too much pressure on the head in case the

helmet touches certain regions too closely. Additio-

nally the flexibility of the inside foam helps distri-

buting the impact energy better than a conventional

stiff helmet.

In-Mold

In-Mold construction fuses a very thin but tough

polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact-

absorbing foam liner, resulting in an incomparable

weight reduction caused by a much thinner shell.

In-Mold construction allows us to build classical half-

shell helmets as light weighted as road cycling hel-

mets. The fusing process and the thinner outer shell

result in slim helmet designs.

Fiberglass

Multi-layered glass fiber shell for a high ratio of

surface area to weight resulting into a strong but light

full-face helmet.

Carbon

Our carbon fiber full-face helmet shells feature high

tensile strength and extremely low weight with the

typical carbon fiber structure.

EPS Impact Foam

EPS features the constitutional properties of a cell.

This lightweight impact foam combines high stability

with great flexibility and thus offers good penetration

resistance and energy distribution properties.

FITLow Fit

A helmet can only protect what it covers. The more it

covers without blocking vision and action the better

is the protection. Our Low Fit design sits as low as

possible for superior front, back and side head pro-

tection but is anatomically designed that it doesn’t

restrict your action.

TSG helmets with Low Fit safely cover the delicate

area around your temples and most important the at-

las, the highest point of your spinal column.

Snug Fit

TSG Snug Fit turns our helmets into the most com-

fortable and best fitting half-shelf helmets on the

market. This has to do with our custom helmet form

that is not just one of those regular bulky molds but

is anatomically designed all-around your head. Most

helmets come with side parts that run down straight

from a bulky top, ignoring your head’s curved anato-

my. The sides of our Snug Fit helmets curve around

the temples a little more than usual, respecting your

head shape, to optimize fit, protection and aesthetic.

Additionally it shows great effects on the shape, as

the helmet is less voluminous as common half-shell

helmets.

Dial Fit System

The Dial-Fit System makes it easy to dial in a custom

fit in seconds. A dial at the base of the helmet provi-

des size adjustment and enhances stability.

Tuned Fit System

Our Tuned Fit System allows you to dial in your fit

using different thickness comfort pads on the interior

of the helmet. Your helmet comes with two sizes of

comfort pads. Just pull the hook and loop-backed

pads out and swap them for the thickness you need.

VENTILATIONAerodynamic Vents

The shape of our vents allows just the right amount of

air to pass trough your helmet for a great climate and

an improved air exchange process.

Air Flow

Air Flow combines active vents with eight air chan-

nels in the helmet’s foam liner that pull cool, fresh

air over and around your head while forcing stale air

out. This ultimate cooling-system allows great airflow

and breathability.

Active Shell Venting

Channels between the FlexTech EPS parts allow heat

to rise and get pulled out of the shell.

Pipe Venting System

This new revolutionary injection-molded venting sys-

tem enhances fresh airflow. The air entering through

the intake vent ports is pushed through interior vent

pipes in the EPS. Exhaust holes in the pipes produce

just the right amount of air directly into the cavity.

The remaining airflow exists through the exhaust vent

ports.

Inspired by the very first TSG skate helmet model

we bring back that 70ies vibe with a classic full-

cut design. The Hardshell Ear Coverage doesn’t only

add retro flair but brings full coverage protection for

worry-free riding.

Our high quality pre-molded and heat-sealed interi-

or fit pads are sealed, abrasion-resistant and can be

washed.

Die-Cut Padding

Comfortable and light interior fit pads.

SHELL BREAKSToddler Size

Optimized helmet size for toddlers’ very first skate

and balance bike tries. Fits head from 48-51

cm/18.9-21”.

Mini Size

Mini Size features shell sizes optimized for kids, juni-

ors or small sized adult heads from 52-54 cm/20.4-

21.3”. Additional fit pads available in size XXXS to fit

head size 51-52 cm.

Adult Size

The shell size that most heads fits. Covers and pro-

tects heads from 54-59 cm/21.3-23.2”.

Super Size

Our super size helmets come with roomy shells for

larger heads up to 60.5 cm/23.8’’.

SKATE-AID supports skateboarding related aid projects and initiatives for margina-lized youth and children around the globe. With its support, skate-aid aims to pro-mote a sense of identity and creates new opportunities for upcoming generations. The Münster-based organization coopera-tes closely with local partner organizations in Afghanistan, Palestine, Kenya, Tanza-nia, Uganda, Bolivia, South Africa, Algeria and other countries. skate-aid focusses on strengthening local structures in order to create sustainable development driven by their project partners. Besides supporting many projects around the world, skate-aid has realized four major projects in con-junction with its partners since its estab-lishment in 2009 and built Afghanistan’s first concrete outdoor skate park (2010), Tanzania’s first concrete skate park (2011), the Pura Vida skate park in Costa Rica (2012) and the Shangilia skate park in Kenya (2013). In 2014, SOS Children Villages and skate-aid will commence with the construction of the first concrete skate park in Bethlehem, Palestine. skate-aid its mission is to bring hope on four wheels to the kids around the world.

STAY STRONG started as a simple tee shirt worn by Pro BMX riders on the Dew Tour showing support for Stephen Murray who was paralyzed on 22nd June 2007 in the dirt finals in Baltimore Maryland. For Stephen a multiple X Games and Gravity games gold medalist a double backflip attempt went horribly wrong when his foot slipped off the pedal mid rotation causing a tragic crash that resulted in 4 shattered vertebrae in his neck. His helmet saved his life... now the young father of two faces his biggest challenges yet. Paralyzed from the shoulders down, Stephen has become an inspiration to many people across the world. His sheer strength, courage and po-sitivity have helped unite the global action sports community. The Pass Carbon helmet is all about speed, performance and design. The extremely compact, and above all aerodynamic design with a shorter front part is optimally adap-ted to the anatomy of the head. The large view window with single-handed-use visor makes for optimised peripheral vision, while the spherical lens supports distortion-free vision. Nose vent ports together with a revo-lutionary exhalation-foggin-blocker around the nose ensures that exhaled air doesn’t flow upwards, fogging up the visor. We are using the newest generation of D3O® impact

foam of the British market leader in shock absorbing

materials. D3O is a soft and flexible shock absorbing

foam, which boasts unique molecular properties.

Under ordinary conditions its molecules flow freely,

but upon impact, they lock together to produce an

instantaneously stiffer foam which in turn absorbs

more impact energy and greatly reduces force

transmission.

Horseshoe Shape

We bring down-slipping pads to an end. The solution

is our custom Horseshoe shape that greatly surrounds

knees/elbows/shoulders. The inside foam pad is com-

pression-molded with a raised top part that perfectly

sits around your protected body part. This shape

minimizes shifting and down-sliding to keep your pad

in place during action.

360° Strap

The strap wraps around the whole leg offering superior

fit adjustment, wearing comfort and protection.

CAPPierce-Proof Insert

On top of your soft impact-pad sits a small pierce-

proof insert. It prevents crushed rocks or other sharp

objects from penetrating the shock-absorbing foam.

But don’t worry; due to its special thin and flexible

design it doesn’t stiffen your soft pad. If your guard

comes with a removable soft pad you could remo-

ve the insert by extracting the foam pad through the

pierced inner middle hole, open the Velcro, remove

the insert and reinsert the foam.

Replaceable Cap

The strong PE knee caps can be detached and replaced

by new ones (for sale separately).
