TSC Commodore’s Loft Party – July 20, 2019 B. Dolan TSC members gathered at the home and large outdoor patio of John Knipp for the annual Commodore’s Loft Party on the evening of July 20, 2019. Overall I believe the event attracted 77 members and the evening went very smoothly with plenty of space, conversation, entertainment and libations for all. Bob Burden escaped with a handful of cash as the winner of the reverse raffle and Tony Krauss did an excellent job of calling out the loser’s names and offering up the consolation swag prizes. Greg and Keri Hall once again provided their wonderful and very pleasant blend of musical entertainment. We were fortunate that the monsoon weather also cooperated, even though we were prepared, and I could not envision a more enjoyable evening with good friends and fellow sailing enthusiasts. Many thanks to those that helped to pull this event off and make it happen so successfully including: -Catered dinner by Gay George and the kitchens at El Molinito and Estrella Bakery. -Overall event coordination including tables, chairs, water and ice by Glenn Brostedt. -Music by Greg and Kiri Hall. -Decorations by Deana Pos, Carol Ray, Karen Mulcahy and Audi Dolan. -Lighting and power distribution by Dan Dolan. -Sanitation Facilities (aka Porta John) by Matt Morris and his friends at Waste Management. -Adult beverages and blenders by Marshall Williamson and Kathleen Bailey. -Parking organization by Peter Burgard. -Consolation prizes by Dorothy Dolan. -General Supervision and Project Oversight by Ned Pos.
