    iLearnNYC collaborates with the Education Development Center to provide an:

    Online Course in Blended Instruction

    Teaching Students in

    Blended Classrooms:

    offers teachers a hands-on

    opportunity to learn effective

    strategies for managing and

    teaching students in blended

    environments and explore theways blended learning can

    effectively support standards-

    based teaching and learning in

    all areas.

    During the course,participants will learn skills and

    strategies to:

    Foster student collaboration

    in an online learning

    community through online

    discussion and group projects

    that assess student work.

    Design their own blended

    learning classrooms using

    interactive tools that reference

    Innosight Institutes four

    blended learning models.

    Meet the learning needs of all

    students by selecting and

    using a variety of teaching

    strategies that aid inpersonalizing learning for

    students.

    Practice using tools to teach

    critical thinking skills and

    monitor student progress

    using data analytics in the

    iLearnNYC learning

    environment.

    The course opens on

    Wednesday, January

    23rd with an online

    orientation.
