The Nashville area is home to nearly 300 health care companies operating on a multi-state, national, or international basis, with more than 250 professional service firms (e.g., accounting, architecture, banking, legal) with expertise in the health care industry.

Vanderbilt HealthTech Laboratory
VU announced the formation of the industry focused Vanderbilt HealthTech Laboratory with expected starting date in June 2007.
The TRUST EMR project is part of the planned technology portfolio.
We expect a strong industry transitioning activity in SOA-based Health Information Systems and In-Home Patient Monitoring
Yuan Xue started working with Vanderbilt Home Care Services
