Principal’s Report
Choir Performance
Our choir performed before a very appreciative
audience at our Information Breakfast on Friday
morning. They all arrived at school by 7:45 and sang
beautifully. I am sure they will make us very proud
at the Ryde Schools Spectacular later in the year.
A number of our senior choir members then
conducted school tours for our guests. Guests made
comments on both their maturity and knowledge.
Congratulations to all our choir members.
Enrolments 2017
Enrolments are now being taken for Kindergarten
2017. Children who will be turning 5 years old on or
before 31st July, 2017 are eligible for enrolment. If
you are intending to enrol your child at Truscott
Street next year could you please contact the office
for an enrolment form.
After School Supervision
A reminder that there is no supervision after school.
All students need to go straight home or to OOSH at
the end of the school day unless they are under the
direct supervision of their parents. If parents are
running late please inform the school and meet
your children at the office.

P&C News
Sat. 2 July – Federal Election
The P&C is organising a BBQ and Cake Stall to be
held at school on the Federal Election day. We are
looking for volunteers to help cook and serve at the
BBQ and assist on the cake stall. It’s a fun morning
where we cook loads of sausages, bacon and eggs
to help feed the hungry voters and the cake stall is
always kept busy with people wanting to take home
morning tea treats, all cooked by our families.
A copy of the roster will be sent home this week.
You shouldn’t miss it as it is printed on bright
orange paper. If you can, please add your name
and contact details on one of the available spots on
the roster and send it back to the office as soon as
possible.
We will provide information soon on how families
and carers can help support the cake stall by baking
or donating items.
Thank you in advance for volunteering,
Sarah Robson, Rachel Fallowfield,
Jenny Shakesheff and Narelle Bowen
