TruLaser machines stand for decades of experience and
pioneering innovations in laser cutting. The outstanding
feature of our machines is that they work on the principle of
"fl ying optics". Thanks to this technology, you not only
achieve high machining speeds and accuracy but also make
the best possible use of your material.
To help you tap into the full potential of your machine, we
have put together a multi-faceted training program. In the
various course modules, you learn not only the basics, but
also acquire in-depth knowledge of special applications that
are tailored to our products. This ensures that you get
maximum use out of your machine.
The above diagram shows the sequence in which the courses should be taken, the
level of knowledge you will attain and the length of each course. Course modules
highlighted in blue provide programming knowledge. Courses highlighted in green
help unlock your machine's potential and keep it in top form. In the darker boxes,
you will fi nd optional courses that expand your knowledge in special fi elds. Training

The combination machines from TRUMPF unite punching
and laser technology in one machine giving you the ad-
vantages of both processing methods. The punching head
produces standard contours and forms while complex
contours are cut with the laser. In addition to this, all combi-
nation machines can be fully automated.
Whether it is the operation, maintenance or software systems
of your TruMatic machine – our wide range of courses offers
every user the best training for achieving maximum machine
operation effi ciency. See for yourself.

With the TruLaser Tube machines, you can produce parts
quickly and precisely, in addition to being well prepared to
meet all market requirements. What's so exceptional about
the TruLaser Tube? The laser cuts contours and trims tubes in
one operation. Tube constructions that are made possible by
the laser, facilitate and reduce downstream fabrication steps.
The edges are smooth and the parts are ready for assembly
without the need for refi nishing.
Do you want to make the best use of all of the functions on
your TruLaser Tube? Well, we have put together a training
package that meets your requirements perfectly! Choose the
appropriate courses from the training program and perfect
the use of your machine.

VenueSeminar: Ditzingen-based general training course with trainees from various customersWorkshop: Customer-individual meeting (in Ditzingen and/or onsite)
ObjectivesYou will acquire knowledge and sugges-tions on efficient part designing taking up-to-date production possibilities of sheet metal processing into account.
Duration1 - 3 days
Workshop forPart Design
Target GroupEmployees from the fields production, de-sign engineering, development, purchasing and sales as well as design engineers and operators
PrerequisitesBasic knowledge of materials (e.g. by skilled worker training)
SubjectsNew European material standardization for steels (DIN EN 10027) and aluminium materials (DIN EN 515, DIN EN 573, DIN EN 1706 and DIN EN 1780) | interpretation of standard designations with regard to mate-rial processibility | structure and internal structure of steels and aluminium materials as well as how they are influenced by processing (welding, forming etc.) | opti-mization of manufacturing process with regard to material and processing influence of faults | surface technology
ObjectivesYou will be able to comprehend the Euro-pean Standard Norm and you will get to know the influencing factors concerning the inner structure of the material during the production procedure. This will help you to recognize all faults on time and will optimize your manufacturing process.
Duration2 days
Target GroupDesigners and developers as well as employees from the areas quality manage-ment and process planning
PrerequisitesKnowledge of technical drawing practice
SubjectsDimensions and dimensional tolerances (EN ISO 14660 and new EN ISO 14405-1/-2) | ISO- dimensional tolerance coding (new EN ISO 286-1) | general tolerances (ISO 2768 and new EN ISO 8062) | shape and position tolerances (EN ISO 1101:2008), tolerancing principles | references and refer-ence systems (new EN ISO 5459) | surface roughness (among other things new EN ISO 1302) | acceptance criteria for surfaces
ObjectivesYou will be able to comprehend the es-sential standard modifications in the wake of conversion to international standards, recognize faulty, ambiguous or unclear records in technical drawings, understand important "default rules" and safely inter-pret new ISO symbolism as well as optimize design drawings.
Duration2 days
