Geresh is Level 4 DisjunctiveSo will usually come before sequence with Level 3 disjunctiveSometimes before another sequence with Level 4 disjunctive

Used only if accent is NOT on the last syllableSometimes preceded by Kadmah (conjunctive)

Kadma v’Azlah

These two notes are dropped by Cantor Barugel and PocketTorah.

v’Azlah is Level 4 DisjunctiveSo will usually come before sequence with Level 3 disjunctiveSometimes before another sequence with Level 4 disjunctive

v’Azlah is used only on words accented on last syllableand if preceded by closely connected word (conjunctive Kadmah)and if preceding word is NOT accented on 1st syllable

Some authorities call v’Azlah Geresh and/or sing it like Geresh
