Function: Based on the LSZ 60 positioning system we have developed a tripod system which can be used for a wide variety of applications. Due to its fl exibility and speed, this gantry system is an essential alternative in plant engineering, whether as a picker or a 3D printer. The great fl exibility of the system allows it to be used for numerous applications. The customers can choose and install their preferred gear and motor variant.
Special design featuresThe parallel kinematics of this tripod system is based on the interaction of three belt-driven positioning axes of the LSZ series. The clevis arms, which are made of a light-weight, highly robust carbon fi bre plastic or aluminium, are mounted directly to the carriages of the axes by means of joints. Thanks to their special dimensions and due to the use of only one belt defl ection unit, the carriages can be moved along nearly the whole length of the aluminium square profi les and thus achieve an increased degree of freedom of the rod mechanics. The direct transfer of kinematics from the carriage to the clevis arms results in a system that is signifi cantly simpler.
Carriage connection: Threaded holes.Fixation: By T-slots and mounting sets. The linear axis can be combined with any T-slot profi le.Timing belt: HTD with reinforcing steel mesh, no backlash when changing direction.Carriage support: In the standard version the carriage is positioned on two runner blocks which can be readjusted and maintained at
any point. Two lubricating nipples at the carriage are provided for relubrication of the positioning system.Dynamics: (corresponding to 100% speed selection) Max. speed: 3 m/s Max. acceleration/deceleration: 20m/s²Picks per minute: approx. 180 (depending on path, dynamics and weight)
