The bus fare for each person is $5 not including the parents they will take their own cars.
The time it will take to get to the zoo from the gardens school will be 35 mins.
There will be 81 kids and there will be 18 parents with a total of 99 kids and parents. 5x81=405 is the total cost for all the kids to go on the bus and we will need 2 buses, 40kids on each bus.
Cost to enter the zoo ?
The cost to enter the zoo for each child is $11.00 and the fee for an adult will be $22.00.
22x18=396 11x81=891 891+396=1287.
The total cost will be $1287 altogether for kids and parents.
Arrival /departure
We will depart the Gardens School at 9:25am and we will arrive at Auckland Zoo at 10:00am.
We will depart Auckland Zoo at 2:10pm and arrive at The Gardens School at 2:40pm.
We will have morning tea at 10:40am and lunch will be at 12:30pm.

Penguins are birds that cannot fly.
They are great swimmers and divers.
Their wings work as paddle for swimming.
The torpedo shape of their body helps them swim at high speeds.
They can also waddle on land.
Penguins can only lay two eggs at a time .

When they swim in saltwater, water passes by and salt is stored in the glands.
When the salt storage completely fills the gland, penguins go to a rock and knock their beak. This allows them to empty the salt content.
Male penguins take care of their chicks.
Parents take turns warming the egg.
Female penguins go for searching foods.
In cold places, males balance eggs on their feet and cover with belly flap to keep them warm.
They usually move within groups.
They eat snow as a source of fresh water.
They take small naps in the water.
Penguins use sign language to communicate with each other.
They make use of their flippers and head to talk to other penguins.

Unlike whales and dolphins, seals give birth on land.
Seals are insulated from the cold by a thick layer of blubber.
Grey seals mate on land, but common seals usually mate in water.
Seals have sensitive whiskers that help them to detect prey in murky waters.
As soon as a pup is born, its mother forms a bond with it by smelling and calling to it.
Grey seals have been known to live for 46 years.
Some seal species have been hunted almost to extinction in some parts of the world.
In 1988 phocine distemper virus killed about 33 per cent of all common seals in the North Sea.
Oil spills are thought to cause breathing problems in seals, as well as damage to ears, nose and throat.
Seals are wild animals if approached too closely they will bite.n
