THE INSTITUTE

Trinity Institute of Innovations in Professional Studies (TIIPS) is established under the aegis of Eveready Exim, a Company registered under Section 8(5) of Companies Act 2013. TIIPS is one of the qualities driven Higher Education Institute in the Greater Noida / Delhi-NCR Region. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Bar Council of India (BCI), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. It stands out in its approach to mentor, assist and equip the students for their holistic development with the help of strong foundation provided to them for a prosperous future. The Bachelor of Technology is a four year degree programme. The Institute is offers admission into following three branches of B.Tech: • Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) • Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) • Information Technology (IT)

OBJECTIVE: • To provide the education in technology and

science and to produce competent, creative and imaginative engineers.

• To train the students for employment in the field of engineering and technology.

• To enable graduates to acquire research and development competence to sustain in academia as well as industry.

ELIGIBILITY: • Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or

equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately.

• Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective) in the qualifying examination.

• For Lateral Entry: ( Admission to year/ Sem) • Three years diploma (completed) in any of the

following branches of Engineering/Technology with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognised Institute/ University / board recognised by AICTE

OR • B.Sc. Graduate with 60% marks in aggregate with pass

in mathematics as a subject from any recognised university.

ADMISSION CRITERIA: • All applicants are required to appear in Joint

Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Only JEE qualified applicants be considered for admission, through University counselling.

• For Lateral Entry : Students must appear in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIPU, Dwarka. Only CET qualified applicants be considered for admission, through University counselling.

OBJECTIVE: • The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Course

is intended to provide fundamental knowledge of Management Education. This programme prepares students to take up challenging roles in this ever changing corporate world and society at large with deep ingrained value system.

• Main emphasis is given on practice and to improve the analytical and thinking skills through case-based teaching as integral part of the course work.

• To mentor student to build research skills among them through independent studies / projects / research work.

• Students are motivated to do news analysis in the class on regular basis to keep them up-to-date with daily news and happenings in the business world.

OBJECTIVE: • This degree assists students to acquire sound

knowledge in computer applications which can be a perfect launch pad for challenging careers in the field of Information Technology.

• Course work gives students ample of opportunity to learn programming languages, coding techniques and concepts at a systematic pace.

• At the end of the three year course, students are placed at top brands in the industry like TCS, Infosys, IBM, WIPRO etc.

ELIGIBILITY: • Pass in senior Secondary exam of CBSE or equivalent with a

minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with pass in English (core or elective or functional). Mathematics or (Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as compulsory subject of non-vocational stream with 50 theory and 50 practical ratio). OR

• Three year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognised examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

• Aggregate of 50% marks in the Senior Secondary exam for the purpose of eligibility will be taken as the aggregate of best four subjects (unless otherwise specified) including English and compulsory subject(s), if any.

ADMISSION CRITERIA: Students must appear in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIPU, Dwarka. Only CET qualified applicants will be considered for admiss ion , th rough on l ine Unive r s i ty counselling.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS: • BCA course usually consist of core courses in

programming with C, algorithm and data structure, advanced management structures, web programming etc

• Some of main course highlights are meant to heighten technological know-how to train students to become industry specialists and to encourage software development. The syllabus is intended to not only teach students theory and applications, but can also equip them with communication skills.

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is a three-year full-time undergraduate course. Those who are keen to join IT Industry can opt for the course.

BALLB

The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws, an integrated course of five years. At the completion of this integrated course one is eligible to work as a legal practitioner or judge.

OBJECTIVE: • As per the current demands of the Industry, the students are

trained through sound foundation in various Humanities Subjects, Administrative Laws and Legislation of India to fulfil their professional and career objectives.

• To motivate students for life-long learning including research & development which will enable them to excel in their higher course of studies, successful career in field of law and legislation.

• To prepare students for leadership in the bar, the bench, the academy, and the public and private sector.

ELIGIBILITY: Pass in Senior Secondary exam of of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

ADMISSION CRITERIA: All applicants are required to appear in Common Law Admission Test – Under Graduate, 2020 (CLAT – UG, 2020) that is conducted by National Law University’s on a rotational basis. Only CLAT-2020 qualified applicants considered for admissions, through online University counselling.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS: • This degree assists students to acquire sound

knowledge in legal matters. • The Institute facilitates regular court visits, workshops

and seminars to enable students to become a capable professional.

• Students in this course attend various quizzes and competitions.

analytical, critical thinking, observational, effective communication and effective writing, interviewing and media production skills in a team environment.

• The students in this course attend various quizzes and competitions and events.

BA(JMC)

Bachelor of Arts in (Journalism & Mass Communication) (BA(JMC)) is a three year undergraduate multi-dimensional and a highly dynamic course.

OBJECTIVE: • The aim is to mould complete personality of a

student to suit needs and requirements of a demanding industry.

• To provide Hands-on-training is provided through Audio-Visual Studio & News Room, Photography Studio, Radio Production Studio and Print & Post Production Studio..

• To enable students with the knowledge and essential skills required for working in various media organisations with different Mass Communication apparatuses and audiences need.

LIBRARY The library has a spacious reading hall and a separate digital library. Famous Books and Authors in the respective fields are available in the reference section, whereas text books and books required for regular study are allowed to be issued. The library subscribes to well known journals, periodicals and e- journals in all fields.

Facilities @ TIIPS

COMPUTER CENTRE TIIPS has a well-equipped centralised computer centre to cater to the needs of students and faculty in the university. The centre possesses a number of servers and 200 networked computer systems. In addition the centre has facility for UG students for their projects work. Wi-Fi connectivity for the academic and administrative blocks of the campus, with internet facilities on all nodes. Computer programming is an integral part of B.Tech programs, besides computer centre is also used to conduct short term training programs for staff and faculty. Licensed Windows software under this agreement can be installed in Institute machines for use by all faculty, students and staff of TIIPS.

LANGUAGE LAB Digital Language Lab is equipped for learning any language effortlessly. It also has high quality multimedia based content, with proven teaching methodologies and an array of comprehensive study materials. The interactive language lab system helps students to learn different languages and enhance their english speaking skills.

ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL LAB Electronics lab is well equipped with the latest signal generators, oscilloscopes, digital trainer kits and measuring instruments. Students of various branches design and test their analog/digital/mixed signals, digital circuits as part of their curriculum. Electrical lab is well equipped all latest equipment.

CLASS ROOMS The Classrooms are designed in a way to accelerate the teaching learning process using modern technological aids. It is normally used to give the presentations, seminars, etc. The Rooms are fully air conditioned. They are equipped with ceiling- mounted LCD projectors.

ENGINEERING MECHANICS LAB AND WORKSHOP The main objective of the laboratory is to provide the learning and understanding of basic mechanics principles. The laboratory components such as impact testing machine, Universal testing machine, digital Rockwell machine etc are designed to give students a hands-on experience with the fundamental engineering concepts covered in the course Workshop is to familiarise students with the basic manufacturing processes and to study the various tools and equipment used, hands-on training is given in different sections, such as House wiring, carpentry, foundry, fitting etc. Essentially student should know the labour involved, machinery or necessary equipment, time required to fabricate and also should be able to estimate the cost of the product or job work.

APPLIED SCIENCE LABS There are two applied science labs such as Applied Physics and Applied Chemistry. These labs are fully equipped with all the latest apparatus. In Applied chemistry lab also comprises all experiments required for Environmental Sciences. In Applied Physics Lab all latest equipments are used to familiarise students with concepts in physics. We have different lab for optical experiments where students learn about optical phenomenons such as diffraction, interference, lasers and many more.

PHOTOGRAPHY LAB The Photography Lab support both Film and Digital Photography . The Photography lab consists of a film loading room, a large developing area, and medium and large format printing. There are three daylight balanced viewing stations for proper assessment of prints, a dry-mounting press and mat board cutter. Our Shooting Studio houses two cycloramas, a copy stand, and hot lights, among other equipment. The Photography Lab has an extensive collection of film cameras, digital cameras, tripods, flashes, light meters and much more.

SEMINAR HALL The Institute has 4 seminar hall designed to facilitate interaction among students, each has 120 movable chairs with tablet- arms for viewers and 6 stage chairs. They are fully equipped with ceiling- mounted projectors and HD Sound System. The hall is fully air conditioned. These seminar halls are used for conducting guest lectures, workshops and training.

SPORTS In the Institute we have specially developed a sports environment that gives them great experience. There are multiple sport facilities to keep students engaged and physically fit. The facilities like activity room which includes chess, carom, and Table Tennis etc helps them to get refresh during free time. Also, in the Institute we have special outdoor sports area like basket ball court, foot ball ground, volleyball and lawn Tennis court for students. Besides these facilities the institute try to encourage students to participate in various competitions. Which is organised by institute each year.

MOOT COURT The Moot Court activity is an inherent feature of every premier Law School. TIIPS has a well-equipped air conditioned MOOT COURT to provide closest experience of court to the aspiring lawyers. Regular presentations by students give them the practical approach and training needed in this competitive world. The Institute also organises a National Moot Court Competition each year with the objective to foster learning and development in the field of Law and cultivate student advocacy, by providing students the opportunity of exposure to experienced practitioners and academicians in the field.

CAFETERIA The Institute has canteen facility in the campus, which provides variety of food and snack items. It has a big kitchen and its staff take extra care to provide students and staff with nutritious and hygienic food in the campus canteen.

MEDICAL FACILITY Medical facility is available to all the students, staff and faculty within the campus, Institute has a tie-up with a local hospital (which is only 1 km away from the campus) for both OPD and hospitalisation facilities. In case of emergency, the hospital ambulance is used to transfer the sick person to the hospital, It is a unique precaution. The Institute also has Doctor-on-call facility as per the requirement.

COMMON ROOMS In the Institute we have air conditioned separate boys and girls common rooms inside the campus, which are used by students for rest and socialising among different courses during lunch hour. Besides, these rooms can be used for discussion and group studies. On each floor we have one set of separate common rooms.
