>ENGAGE GOD LENT SERMON SERIES Veiled Victories: “Lent is not merely a journey to the cross but a journey to an empty tomb and to God’s victory.” During the weekends in Lent we will examine a variety of accounts in which Jesus is a “victor” over someone, or something. All of this, however, points us ahead to the great and final victory of Christ on Easter morning. WEDNESDAY LENT SERVICES—During Lent, we will hold mid-week services on Wednesdays at noon in the chapel and 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. Join us as we turn our focus and preparation toward Easter and the celebration of our risen Lord. BAPTISM AT TRINITY Have you been thinking about baptism for your child? Have a bundle of joy on the way? The next Baptism preparation class for families interested in having a child baptized at Trinity will be Tuesdays, March 22 and 29 from 7 to 8 p.m. Childcare is available at no cost if requested in advance. Please contact Jeremy Ashley at [email protected] for more information regarding the baptism class or scheduling your child’s baptism. 252—HOPE: Believing something good can come out of something bad. That’s what Kindergarten–5th graders are talking about this month at 252. 252 (from Luke 2:52) is a Sunday morning experience designed to help kids grow in faith and learn how to live it in the real world. We meet from 9:30-10:30 a.m. each Sunday in the Early Childhood Center and spend time in small group conversation, as well as a bit of time altogether as a large group. If your child hasn’t been, bring them to try it out! When they ask, assure them it is NOT school, but it is a part of growing in their faith. If you have any questions, contact Jeremy Ashley at [email protected] or 586-463-8803. DO YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN? The church nursery is open and staffed at all church services by licenses professionals for children age three and under. For more information, contact Jeremy Ashley at [email protected].

For info, contact Sue at [email protected] or 586-463-2921 x103. Following is 1 of 34 themes of talent and how it’s designed to bless: THE BLESSING OF THE BELIEF TALENT starts with the fact that you have some very deeply-held beliefs about what is true, unchanging, and always dependable. These beliefs give you personal power to stand strong no matter what, and they generate meaning, purpose and direction for your life and all you do. This leads you to possess a tremendous amount of power, drive and motivation. As long as you revolve your life around your deepest values and beliefs, you will make monumental impact in the lives of individuals, groups and organizations around you. How do you use your Belief talent in service of God and others?

Second, as we assess the Zika threat this spring, we could still send the money ahead to Guatemala if we were unable to make the trip. We cannot send the supplies as it is impossible to ship to Guatemala reliably. Please support Groundwork Guatemala with a chapel or an Impact Mission church offering.
