SCRIPTURE VERSE: Rev 7: 9 - 10 . 9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count,
from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They
were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud
voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb”.

A short trip home for Brittney and a quick update!
Early in the month of June, Brittney returned home for a short stay and quickly returned to Ethiopia. She moved from Addis and is now living in Gidole, where she serves as the translation advisor for the Mosiye people group. Thank you for your continued support of her, as she obeys the call.
Wycliffe at Guaico Pentecostal
On June 30th, at the kind invitation of Pastor Warren and Sister Lilleth Harper, personnel from Wycliffe and Great Commission Bible Church, shared on missions re Bible translation to the minority groups. Scriptural Challenges came from Mark 6:38, Ephesians 5: 14-16, and a One Story presentation on Genesis 3. We appreciated the opportunity to
pass the vision re the minority groups.
Wycliffe Caribbean Breakfast & Team Meetings held in Jamaica,
both held in June.
The theme at the Annual Prayer Breakfast was “No true Trans-formation without Translation.” The Americas Area Director Nydia Garcia Schmidt was in attendance, challenging a commitment from the churches re the Bible translation needs worldwide. At the Team Leaders meeting, the Leaders gave updates on what the various national teams were doing. They also joined together to plan and strategize for the upcoming year 2020.

June to November 2019
Wycliffe at the PAWI Northwest Missions Conference and Training Seminar
On 24th August, we were invited to this enlightening missions event by Rev. Osbert Williams, the Assistant Director of Missions. The topics presented were indeed very inspiring. Wycliffe hosted a booth and we were able to share on the role of Wycliffe and the remaining task of Bible translation. Brochures and magazines were distributed and several also signed up for the newsletter and showed interest in Discovery trips.
Our first Prayer Newsletter!
We are very happy to announce that we now have a national prayer co-ordinator. Her name is Lily Marshall. She attends San Fernando Open Bible Church. Lily put together the first issue of our prayer newsletter which was sent out in October. She is also responsible for the coordination of prayer for the mi-nority people groups. We covet your prayer on her behalf as she serves in this role, bringing in the harvest for the Kingdom of God.
Wycliffe World Day of Prayer November 11th!!!
We thank all of the churches in T&T and the Caribbean who were able to facilitate prayer for the minority groups in their congregation on Sunday 10th November. We also thank the Wycliffe Caribbean team members for their hard work. What a wonderful time it was, in the presence of the Lord, loving Him, thanking him, appreciating Him, standing in awe of Him, calling upon Him, for He is well able. Our God continues, in His deep love and compassion for all men, to search for the lost and the last people groups. The Wycliffe world and partners also prayed on November 11th.
A short update on the Douglases
With the Lord’s leading and guidance, Mark and Celicia Douglas are now preparing for the field. This time they will be together, as a couple. We are very happy for them both. They are in the process of sharing their vision with their partners and among the churches. They are expected to leave our shores for their first assignment in early January. We covet your support on their behalf as they obey the master’s call for their lives.
Wycliffe welcomes a spanking brand new team member!!
What a wonderful and exciting time this was, the birth of Austin, to Aleem and Shanna! On Monday 5th August at 9:39am Shanna gave birth to her son Austin Barclay Shaiyah Mohammed 6lbs 5ounces. We rejoice with Shanna and Aleem, at the arrival of Austin and wish them all of God’s Blessings and wisdom as they raise him in the love and fear of the Lord. May the Blessings of the Lord be on Austin.
