Howl-O-Ween HikeMetroParks Bikeway - Kirk Road Trail Head10/17 | Saturday | 10 amHave a “howl” of a good time on this trek down the Bikeway. Bring your dog dressed in his/her Halloween finest – you are welcome to dress up too! There will be a costume contest, prizes, and refreshments in the pavilion following the hike. MetroMutts members will receive a free pumpkin and photo with their dog. Easy, 2 mi.

Recall ClinicMetroParks Farm - Barn #411/4 | Wednesday | 6 pmPresented by The Learning Dog. This class will teach your dog one of the most important commands he or she can learn – emergency recall. You will naturally improve your everyday “come” command and create a word that sends your dog running back to you. Bring treats and a long leash (15-20 ft.) – no retractable leashes, please. Program Key

MetroMutts is a membership program bringing together dogs and their dog-loving humans. Learn new things, strengthen the bond with your pet, and meet others who share your passion.

Join MetroMutts and support programs and projects that improve Mill Creek MetroParks for dogs and people alike. Members receive free admission to our training programs, discounts on special events, special gifts and treats, discounts at local dog-related businesses, window cling, and email reminders of upcoming programs.

Dogs who attend MetroMutts programs must be leashed (6’ max.), non-aggressive, licensed, vaccinated and under owner’s control at all times.

At programs accepting donations: Large blankets, dry puppy and dog food, dog collars and leashes, rawhides, dog toys, treats, garbage bags, newspapers, plastic baggies, plastic totes with lids, rubbing alcohol, paper towels, bleach, laundry detergent and disinfectant spray would be appreciated.
