Editor’s Message

Well…Summer is over.

The kids are back in school trying to adjust to the fall schedule. Days are getting shorter. Hopefully, we’ll see some rain in Octo-ber.

The gymkhana season is almost over. We had our last show on August 25

th, it was another great trophy show. We have the last

CSHA Region 5 gymkhana this weekend at the arena. We are excited to go to the Show of Champions next month. Just a re-minder we will be running the snack shack again this weekend as well as at the Obstacle Challenge so we will need some vol-unteers.

Things are gearing up the Obstacle Challenge 2 day event (stay overnight) September 22-23, 2018. See our website for more information & registration. Stay tuned!

The August camping trip was at the Santa Cruz Horsemen’s showgrounds and it looks like Henry Cowell State Park was a beautiful spot to ride. One of these days I’ll have to go! The September camping trip is this weekend, Sept 7-10 at Kerrick Corral.

Our next meeting will be at the arena on September 5, 2018. The gate will be open at 5pm in case you want to bring your horse and ride before the meeting. Jr meeting starts at 6:30pm and regular meeting is at 7pm.

See you there!
