Be inspired by bold and bright colourful glass tiles and gems to create your own mosaic art for indoor display. Creating a mosaic art piece is a fun and creative process that inspires us to use our imagination and express our individual personalities. Your choice – Winged Heart, Bird, Mushroom, Bee, Butterfl y, Dragonfl y, Flower, Seahorse, Dolphin or Surfboard.

Mini Owl SoftieAnn-Marie Anderson-Mayes
Ages 6 to 12
Learn how to make your very own wise little friend with just needle, thread and a few simple materials. Students will learn hand sewing skills such as attaching a button, running stitch, back stitch, blanket stitch and French knots to construct their softie.

Would you like a beautiful cover for your sketch book or journal? Using pure wool felt and embroidery thread, create and stitch your own unique design for a fabric journal cover.

Glass Mosaic – Winter Snowfl akeNatalie Zuchetti
Ages 8 to 16
This hands-on workshop teaches you
how to create your own winter-inspired mosaic. Develop a design based on a snowfl ake using a 35cm square panel. Learn how to use glass mosaic tools along with advanced mosaic techniques to create your mosaic suitable for indoor or external use. In this intensive workshop you will also learn design/art elements to extend your mosaic further.

Origami Master ClassTomomi Yamamoto
Ages 6 to 10
Enjoy playing and being creative with paper. Be astonished at what you can create with your bare hands! Origami uses both left and right sides of the brain and improves hand-eye coordination.

Annual membership is required at Tresillian Arts Centre for all term courses. Anyone wishing to attend a course, except for School holiday activities or weekend workshops, must be a member of the Centre.

Please note the following important information regarding course bookings:
• Due to popularity of courses, places cannot be held without payment.
• An enrolled student cannot have another individual attend a class in their absence.
• Participants in the term courses, full day and weekend workshops must be over 18 years of age.
• No children are to accompany an adult to classes.
• Classes without the minimum number of participants by Thursday 14 July 2016 will be cancelled.
• Most courses require additional materials to be purchased by the student.
• A 20% administration fee applies to cancellations made prior to the beginning of term.
• No refund will be given once term has commenced.
• Classes are not held on Public Holidays.
• A full refund will only be given if a course is cancelled by the Tresillian Arts Centre.
• A refund will only be given if you have a medical certifi cate for the dates you have missed.
• Membership is non-refundable.
• No Pro-rata payments for term courses or if classes are unattended by the student.
• All prices are inclusive of GST.
• Please notify staff at time of booking if you require a complimentary 4hr parking permit.
