Solution: If Sir Percival had been duck-hunting less than ten minutes ago the lake would have been empty as the shooting would have scared away all the ducks and other birds for quite some time. Also if you hear a shot from your house you wouldn’t bother to take the ptey with you. Sir P. confesssed the murder. He had shot the two ducks a couple of hours earlier and tried to use them as part of his alibi after having shot his wife in a boisterous quarrel.

A man with a firm and a mission to accomplish, Ronald Cruise is a teacher, a student will never forget. A teacher of Physics for classes 8 to 12, in SFX Greenherald school and classes 11 and 12 in Oxford International school, Cruise is best known for his firm ideologies in teaching and is noted for his remarkable sincerity in his profession. “ In my very first class, I tell all my students that this is how I am, these are my likes and these are my dislikes. This is how I teach and these are my goals to fulfill. If you want to do my class, follow and get along with me, if not, find your own way. In an institution like this where you are supposed to make your parents proud, there are no compromises with studies. So either it’s my way or the highway.” Besides teaching, Cruise spends his free time sky watching since astronomy is his main interest.He leads the Bangladesh Team under the flag of Bangladesh Astronomical Association, to countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Greece and Brazil for the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astro-Physics. Cruise is also a scout, registered by the Bangladesh Scouts who organized the first English medium scout camp for students at Gazipur. From what his students say, in his eyes, it is not only studies that make a good student. The extracurriculars besides studies makes a student complete.

From humble singers in a British television show called X Factor to singing sensations with their concerts selling out in mega arenas, One Direction is world famous, stealing hearts of many young viewers, especially girls. They are popularly known as 1D featuring Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik.

Performing songs so musical they capture hearts. They are back with their documentary movie “This is us,”

casting their journey to success with a lot of backstage scenes and highlights of their first international tour. The documentary also covers other tours in many European countries, including the O2 arena in London.

My kitten is a 3 month old, golden brown male with pure hazel eyes. After convincing my parents about keeping him, I came up with the name “Ishaan.”

He was fully trained within a month and learnt some new tricks too. As I am an only child, and my parents work all day, Ishaan was just what I need in my life. He too, responded.

He has had two major accidents in his life. Once Ishaan fell from my balcony four stories down and broke his right leg. Before he could heal properly, he went missing. We couldn’t find him for four days. On the 5th day we found him alive at the bottom of the hill behind our

house. I was happy and thankful to Allah. Ishaan was almost missing his left leg this time. Probably the foxes that live up the hill had bit him. I couldn’t stop my tears watching him trying so hard to jump into my arms. The doctor amputated his leg and he was brought back home. I sat beside him hearing him breathe softly, waiting for him to wake up. When he finally did, he tried to move and then growled with pain. My heart broke every time I heard him scream but thankfully he healed within 2 weeks! He is a 3 legged cat now but still better looking to me than any other cat!

Forking in For a ChimE

Science can be fun right? If it happens to be your passion, you need to experiment more to learn better. We have one such experiment for you to try out at home. It’s called the ringing fork. Make sure you have a guardian to help you with this.

What you need• String or thread (varying from

two to three feet in length)• Fork• Spoon• Scissor

What’s happeningFirst, you tie the fork to the centre of the string. Then, tie one end of the string around your right index finger and the other on your left index finger. Bring your fingers close to your ears and let the fork swing in front of you. Get someone to tap the fork with the spoon to finally hear a loud ringing in your ears.

There is chill in the air; winter is here. Even though Christmas isn’t our festival, with December, comes the essence of this big holiday. To celebrate this occasion, why not make some very cool sock wreaths to decorate your house?

InstructionsTake a long sheet of cardboard and cut a circular donut out of it with the help of an adult. Take your old socks and cut them at the heels and toes. Next, cut the longest sections of your socks into half. Cut the donut at the top for a place to slide your socks on. When you are done, roll up your socks and slide them on the donut one by one. After all your sock sections have covered the donut, spread the socks evenly and maybe place a bow at the top. Your sock wreath is done.
