Travis Lee Moore, Jr., known to family and friends as “Doone or Doonie,” passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 58 years.

Born and raised in Fred, Texas, Doone attended Warren High School, and then joined the Air Force and was stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge from

the Airforce, Doone went on to meet the love of his life Valerie “Sue” Moore. Doonie was a jack of all trades. But of all his talents in the work field, Logging in Southeast Texas and Car sales in Alaska were his favorite.

Doone attended Seminary school in 1992 in Fortworth, Texas. Doonie served many years in ministry as a Pastor in both Southeast Texas and Alaska. Street Ministry was also dear to him. He had a heart of compassion for all people. He loved delivering a message of hope that turned hearts to our Savior. Doone loved Jesus with all his heart.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of thirty-five years Valerie “Sue” Moore, children Robert “Troy” Moore, Jonathan “Luke” Moore, Koti Lanni, Curtis Moore, and Dee Mcrae. His sixteen grandchildren who he absolutely adored, that called him by his favorite name “Pawpaw”. He will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled.  You believe  in God[a];  believe also in me.  2  My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there  to prepare a place for you?  3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

John 14:1-4
