3. All visitors from COVID-19 affected countries and regions
such as France, Spain, Germany, United States of
America, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei
Darussalam and West Malaysia are to adhere to
precautionary guidelines issued by the Saraw ak Health
Department at all Point Of Entry.
Note: Sarawak Disaster M anagement Committee issued the
following guidelines on 13 M arch 2020 following reported
positive cases of COVID-19. All non-essential travel to Brunei Darussalam, Sabah and
Peninsular Malaysia are advised to be postponed or deferred.

entry. Transit through Singapore are allow ed, MOH’s
approval and SHN w ill not apply for those w ho are transiting
in Singapore w ithout leaving the airport transit area
5. Effective 16 March 2020, Foreign Domestic Workers
(FDWs) (regardless of travel history) will be required to
show the MOM approval letter 5 to the airline staff at check-
in and before boarding at the point of departure. The FDWs
w ill also be required to show the MOM approval letter at the
ICA checkpoint upon arrival in Singapore
6. From 19 Feb to 29 Mar 2020: passengers and crew
members w ho w ere on the cruise ship ‘Diamond Princess’
ARE NOT ALLOWED to enter Singapore or transit through

2. Passengers arriving into Hong Kong w ho have been to Italy
and Iran in the past 14 days w ill be arranged to stay in
quarantine centre for a 14-day quarantine upon arrival
3. For w ho are on direct airside transit via the HKIA, please
remind to check and verify the ’ onw ard f light arrangements
prior to check-in/boarding to avoid their being subject to
refusal of landing and removal.
Note: This is to avoid passenger to be stranded at HKG if there
is any problem when making their onward connecting flight at
HKIA such as refusal acceptance by the airlines.
4. Mandatory Quarantine
a. All entering Hong Kong from the China Mainland by air or
ground including Hong Kong residents, China Mainland
residents as w ell as other , to be subject to mandatory
quarantine for 14 days upon their arrival.
b. Even if they are entering from other places, as long as they
have visited the Mainland either by air or ground over the
past 14 days, mandatory quarantine w ill still be applicable
upon their arrival.
5. If a visitor’s permitted limit of stay in Hong Kong in
accordance w ith existing immigration policy is shorter than
the length of the quarantine (i.e. 14 days), he WILL BE
REFUSED entry into Hong Kong.

ZEALAND
1. Any foreign passengers w ho leave or transit through
People’s Republic of China (PRC) or Iran WOULD BE
REFUSED ENTRY to New Zealand.
2. Immigration New Zealand has extended the current border
restrictions for passengers till 17th March and w ill be review ed
every 16 days (or as and w hen required)
3. Any foreign passengers in transit to New Zealand w ill be
subject to enhanced screening on arrival but, pending
clearance, w ill be granted entry to New Zealand.
4. For pax at departing ports outside PRC or IRAN:
a. Airlines in other countries must ask thefinal destination
is New Zealand if they have been in or through PRC or
IRAN since the 2 February 2020.
i. Passengers w ho have been in or through PRC or
IRAN in the past 14 days must not be permitted to
travel to New Zealand and airlines should contact
APP Support Office (APPSO) for further
