not allow them to depart.

b. For any visitor w ho arrive from the above countries

will be refused entry by the Immigration and handed

over to the airlines for deportation process

such as France, Spain, Germany, United States of

America, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei

Darussalam and West Malaysia are to adhere to

precautionary guidelines issued by the Saraw ak Health

Department at all Point Of Entry.

Note: Sarawak Disaster M anagement Committee issued the

following guidelines on 13 M arch 2020 following reported

positive cases of COVID-19. All non-essential travel to Brunei Darussalam, Sabah and

Peninsular Malaysia are advised to be postponed or deferred.

Visitors from Brunei Darussalam, Sabah and Peninsular M alaysia are also advise to postpone or defer their travel to

Sarawak.

entry. Transit through Singapore are allow ed, MOH’s

approval and SHN w ill not apply for those w ho are transiting

in Singapore w ithout leaving the airport transit area

5. Effective 16 March 2020, Foreign Domestic Workers

(FDWs) (regardless of travel history) will be required to

show the MOM approval letter 5 to the airline staff at check-

in and before boarding at the point of departure. The FDWs

w ill also be required to show the MOM approval letter at the

ICA checkpoint upon arrival in Singapore

6. From 19 Feb to 29 Mar 2020: passengers and crew

members w ho w ere on the cruise ship ‘Diamond Princess’

ARE NOT ALLOWED to enter Singapore or transit through

Singapore.

5 PHILIPPINES 1. Under the Community Quarantine Over the Entire Luzon

effective 17 March 2020, air travel shall be restricted as

follow s:

Departing Passengers

Departing passengers, regardless of nationality, shall

be allow ed to depart w ithin 72 hours of quarantine

effective date i.e. betw een 17 March 2020 until 20

March 2020.

b. 21Mar-13Apr 2020

Passengers will not be allowed to depart MNL eff.

21 March 2020 until 13 April 2020.

Arriving Passengers

1. Arriving Filipino citizens, including

their spouse and children, holders of

Permanent Resident Visa and holders of

9E Diplomat Visa shall be allow ed entry

subject to quarantine procedures.

10 NEW

ZEALAND

1. Any foreign passengers w ho leave or transit through

People’s Republic of China (PRC) or Iran WOULD BE

REFUSED ENTRY to New Zealand.

2. Immigration New Zealand has extended the current border

restrictions for passengers till 17th March and w ill be review ed

every 16 days (or as and w hen required)

3. Any foreign passengers in transit to New Zealand w ill be

subject to enhanced screening on arrival but, pending

clearance, w ill be granted entry to New Zealand.

4. For pax at departing ports outside PRC or IRAN:

a. Airlines in other countries must ask thefinal destination

is New Zealand if they have been in or through PRC or

IRAN since the 2 February 2020.

i. Passengers w ho have been in or through PRC or

IRAN in the past 14 days must not be permitted to

travel to New Zealand and airlines should contact

APP Support Office (APPSO) for further

instructions.

5. On arrival at New Zealand:

b. Health paperwork and advice for arriving passengers:

All passengers arriving in NZ w ill be given a health registration form that they must complete before processing

through arrivals. Health off icials w ill then speak to each passenger (or group of passengers) to give them advice on self-isolation.

At Auckland Airport, around 30 desks w ill be set up for passengers to complete the forms. This w ill be done before the passengers go through Customs.

The restriction shall be effective w ith immediate effect and valid

23 THAILAND 1. Passengers w ho have travel history to REPUBLIC OF

KOREA, People's Republic of China, Macao, Hong Kong,

Italy and Iran ARE REQUIRED to:

a. Present Health Certif icate (Medical Certif icate) certifying

that no sickness in the past 14 days and undetectable

COVID-19 laboratory result issued w ithin 48 hours prior

to f light departure.

b. Present a health and insurance document that is insured at

USD100,000. If they are unable to produce such

document, the boarding pass SHALL NOT be issued.

c. Ensure that the documents must be issued in English

and to be presented in hard copy

d. Passengers on immediate transit through any of the

countries are exempted.

e. Passengers w ho are the nationality of REPUBLIC OF

KOREA, People's Republic of China, Macao, Hong

Kong, Italy or Iran are required to submit Form T8 issued

under the Communicable Diseases Act B.E.2558 (2015)

to the health off icers.

f. Upon arrival, passengers shall be declare w ith T8 form

available at health control.

g. All aircraft must be disinfected and approved for take-of

h. The air operators must strictly comply w ith the

measures for the surveillance prevention and control of

2. Travel restricted countries: REPUBLIC OF KOREA, PRC,

ITALY and IRAN.

a. Travelling from countries that are not listed above but

transit through above countries' airport w ill be

exempted from the 14-day self-quarantined on arrival.

b. Passengers w ho intend to stay less than 14 days can

still travel to Thailand but they must be self -quarantined

in the hotel/house during their intended stay period and

ARE NOT allow ed to leave the hotel/house.

c. With visa permitted stay that is less than 14days are

allow ed to enter the country but have to be self -

quarantined at hotel/house until departure date.

d. If Thai passenger (job seeker and overstay) returning

from REPUBLIC OF KOREA having REPUBLIC OF

KOREA Immigration stamp endorsed on the last page

of their passport shall be accepted by notifying BKK

and HKT stations. The stations shall inform Immigrat ion

and Health Control for further evaluation.

e. If passenger traveled to the four (04) risk countries

w ithin the last 14 days, they must be self -quarantined

at Hotel and are not allow ed to go out.

f . With REPUBLIC OF KOREA Immigration stamp

endorsed on the last page of their passports.

i. Code 68-(1) stamp for those w ho voluntarily contact

REPUBLIC OF KOREA Immigration to leave the

country. There is no notif ication from upline station so

Thai immigration w ill not be aw are of their arrival.

ii. Code 46-(1) stamp for those caught by REPUBL I C

to undergo cabin disinfectant spray and deep cleaning

before departure.

b. All aircraft that carriy found w ith high temperature by

Health Control off icer is also required to undergo cabin

disinfectant spray and deep cleaning before departure.

c. If airlines carried passenger w ith COVID-19 w ithout

proper exit screening or early notif ication to the Health

Control in advance, airlines (could be station manager)

shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding

tw o years or to a f ine not exceeding 500,000THB or to

both.
