consultant was held April 12th, 2014

• Best Practices in Transportation Impact Assessment– Project approved by UTC in April, 2013– Project Budget: $140,000– Project purpose / objectives
• To capture how new transportation requirements are being addressed in impact assessment
• Review Best Practices in Canada, US, Europe and Australia• Synthesize Best Practices according to jurisdictional and
development contexts

• Defining and Measuring Congestion– Urban authorities have identified a need to
develop practical guidelines and standards for measuring and monitoring congestion.
– Proposal is to develop:• State of Practice• Guidelines
– Estimated cost: $100,000 (consultants fee only)
