• Phase A, Develop Indicators: Draft report has been submitted to PSC

• Phase B, Survey: Anticipate survey launch by early summer 2014

– Anticipated deliverables (spring 2015): Survey Database, Reports (profile and comparison with previous UTI Surveys)

• Design and Implementation of Transit Services: Guidelines for Small Communities– Steer, Davies, Gleave Consultants– Project Budget: $80,000– Status:• First Project Steering Committee meeting with

consultant was held April 12th, 2014

– Anticipated deliverables (spring 2015): Primer and Guidelines

• Best Practices in Transportation Impact Assessment– Project approved by UTC in April, 2013– Project Budget: $140,000– Project purpose / objectives

• To capture how new transportation requirements are being addressed in impact assessment

• Review Best Practices in Canada, US, Europe and Australia• Synthesize Best Practices according to jurisdictional and

development contexts

• Defining and Measuring Congestion– Urban authorities have identified a need to

develop practical guidelines and standards for measuring and monitoring congestion.
